I had to run XP Repair and when my PC booted up I got the message that I’m missing the ntdetect.dll file….and now my system is also running like crap. I’m hoping that the missing file is the only reason. Can anybody explain to me in SIMPLETON style English just what this .dll file is and how I can replace/repair it?

I need this particular file for a particular second life viewer. I’ve been trying everything i can to download the viewer but no matter what i get xul.dll cannot be found. I purchased registry cleaing programs…downloaded firefox..and still it does not work…i’m not srue what to do. I’m going nuts though over this..about to pull out all my hair and throw my computer out the window. lol . Please help!!!

My audio editor said that the MP3 encoder lame.dll couldn’t be found and asked if I would find it myself. I would, but where do I look? I have windows XP. Is it there on the computer normally or do I have to actually download it? Thanks
