Installation Of Windows Wont Run Due To .sys Errors??
Thursday, August 6th, 2009Im formatting my harddrive and reinstalling windows XP (i have a million viruses).
Whenever i boot the cd rom at startup, i ‘press any button to boot from cd’, and when the blue setup screen comes up, it runs awhile, and then errors pop up. its done it 4 times now, and i cant get it to start.
these are the errors ive gotten so far:
‘toside.sys is corrupt or missing’
‘\i386\ntkrnlmp.exe error code 7′
’setupdd.sys error code 7′
‘SETUPREG.HIV’
can anyone help?
im about ready to run a huge magnet past my computer UGH

Thursday, August 6th, 2009Both should use feedback error correction if that option is available. Feedback error correction implies an immediate response / repair. Forward error correction implies the data you submit might have to go up through several layers of support before it gets fixed.

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009if you have a printer connected to the computer make sure that you have installed the correct drivers for it.
If you dont have a printer connected then go to control panel and then into printers.. delete the printer installed in it.
That will solve your problem !
My Acer Aspire 9813wkmi Reported A “sys Error” And Will Not Boot Successfully.?
Saturday, July 25th, 2009It gets past the initial acer screen but reports that it is “starting the e-recovery management environment” then it opens a screen that has a microsoft Windows XP logo on it (even though my system runs Vista) then after a minute or so the screen goes blank and stays that way.
I have tried changing the boot order so that it boots from the cd drive first, then inputting a system backup and recovery disc I created when I first got the pc but it does not appear to make any difference
