Really Need Help With Windows Stop Error Please!?

Monday, October 5th, 2009

I reformatted my hard drive and now when I try to install windows I get this:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters.
Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Sage Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.
Technical Information:
*** STOP: 0×0000007E (0xC0000005, 0xF748E0BF, 0xF78DA208, 0xF78D9F08)
*** pci.sys – Address F748E0BF base at F7487000, DateStamp 3b7d855c
What do I do? It is now a blank Hard Drive without Windows XP installed…

Blue Stop Error Screen, How To Deal With This?

Monday, September 28th, 2009

My laptop earlier on had a problem with pci.sys and Ntfs.sys which I managed to fix with OS CD. But it will only go through until the boot screen and will stay there forever so I put on the OS CD again and run a “CHKDSK /R” which i thought was supposed to help out in some ways. After the chkdsk was completed, I restarted my laptop and after the boot screen came up for a short while, the blue stop error screen showed up and my laptop restarted and this keep repeating on and on.
running a diagnostic will result in a failed test
I can’t enter neither one of the safe modes, last known good configure or even start windows normally
Any of those selected will still end up at the blue stop error screen.
Technical information:
*** STOP: 0×0000007F (0×00000000, 0×00000000, 0×00000000, 0×00000000)
If I cant enter safe mode, start windows normally whatever, like nothing else works, how to deal with this?
Should I just reinstall the OS? I’m just concern that all the data will be lost if I do.

I have this Dell inspiron 530 Windows Vista computer and I’ve been having multiple Stop Screen error messages. I only had this computer for a couple months and been having these problems since I first got it, heres a list of what I’ve been recieving.
System-Servie-Eception
Stop:0×0000003B
Stop:0×0000007E
Stop:0×0000000A
Stop:0×000000C4
Stop:0×0000001E
volsnap.sys
Stop:0×00000024
ntfs.sys
Note, I didn’t write down everything word for word of what I saw because it would have been to long to type, but that is some key information I thought was important from all the stop screen error messages I’ve been getting. anyone with Windows XP or Vista should know what I’m talking about.

How Can I Stop Ccsvchst.exe Error Message Happening When I Shut Down My Computer?

Saturday, September 26th, 2009

I run Windows XP Home edition with service pack 3, IE7 and Norton Internet Security 2007 upgrade.
I recently had to reinstall Norton(having used their removal tool first) but now notice that at shutdown I get CcSvcHst.exe Application Error followed by ‘The memory at etc.etc.. Microsoft help and support say it is a Symantec problem but their website finds no reference to the problem.
I had this problem before with Windows service pack 2 & NIS 2005 but cannot remember what the outcome was. Can anyone help?
