I’m curious in some dll files i’ve downloaded and i’d like to open it up. Its in binary so i can’t read it from notepad.
I’ve also tried something called “resource hacker”, but for some, it can’t open. Is there a good program for me to use to both read and make .dll files?

Saturday, September 26th, 2009I keep getting the following error message on my computer: “taskmgr.exe failed to initialize” It freezes everything I try to do and I have to press the power button to shut down my computer. Once I restart my computer it works fine again for about 1-2 days and I get this message again. I’ve tried 2 programs to try and fix it. Registry Fix and Advanced Registry Optimizer. Neither fix the problem. What can I do?

The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009I think I finally found the cause of all the ‘Illegal Operation” errors I’ve been getting from Macromedia Flash. Every few days, I have to search out and destroy ‘flash9d.ocx’ because some weird download keeps killing my machine. I finally found 6 instances of ’silentdownload’ that seem to be doing the deed. After deleting them, I began to wonder WHY anyone would do such an idiot trick. Any programmers out there who would know?
