The file is mup.sys and I want to try to copy over the file with an uncorrupted version. I am using Vista, and want to do the equivalent of a repair install in XP, but I can’t boot into Windows, even in safe mode. Alternatively, I tried to remove my hard drive and connect it via usb adapter to another computer to copy an uncorrupted mup.sys, but there is always a vista permissions error that will not let me copy over the file. Is there a way to copy over a corrupt file? I have the Vista DVD.

“Im confused why my pc is freesing in games on 1600mhz its fine but as soon as i hit the 1700 it freeses not everytime last night was fine for 5 hours or so till i went bed woke up today and played a game for like 2 hours and then it frose then i uped voltage to 1,40 from 1.31 and it frose even fast in 3dmark so as fast as i could changed voltage back down lol but it didnt show much heat on cpu max was like 69 under full load idel was 35 , anyways any info about this would be much appreicated im guessing its to do with the voltage or maybe the ram? i have ram linked, maybe unlick it and set to default? what are you thoughts solutions

Now i have fixed it and also running at 1800mhz cpu and 1025mhz ram
The problem was so simple but yet no1 said it all it was,w as i needed to unlinkc ram and set accordingly yet the answers mainly said ure cpu cant handle it so dont bother
I dont understand how when i see peopel asking things they always get good answers and i dont lol anyways i posted this for any1 in the future, if u have a prob getting higher MHZ on cpu fsb up the voltage and unlink ram and it will be fine and if u oc gpus do it very slowly and test for 30-40 min on a grphicly intense game if it dosnt blue screen ure good to go

Friday, August 7th, 2009I reinstated windows and installed opera browser,my pc said i needed the dll msimg32 for some display issues i think,so i downloaded the file put it in the windows sytem folder and it already said i had the file, i overrided the file i already had even though my pc said i didn’t have the file when i installed opera.MY question will i have any problems with my operating system since i over rided the file i supposely had in my system already?
