I’m Getting A Ntoskrnl.exe Error. I Don’t Have A Installation Cd, Is There Something I Can Download?

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

My computer was working fine until I shut it down (because it was running slow) and when I turned it back on it said:
“Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\system32\ntoskrnl.exe.
Please reinstall a copy of the above file.”
I don’t have the copy of the installation CD that came with my computer, is there something I can download?
Can you also give me steps on what to do?

Ntoskrnl.exe Error?

Sunday, September 20th, 2009

Hello
A few days ago I tried to restart my computer after some sort of update. However, when Windows XP tried to start, I got the “Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \system3ntoskrnl.exe. Please re-install a copy of the above file” message.
I attempted to reinstall Windows, but when the screen came up with “press any key to continue,” the error message came back up.
I went into BIOS, but I could not navigate the screen.
I have tried 2 PS/2 keyboards and one USB keyboard to attempt to resolve this problem, to no avail.
I am fresh out of options. Does anybody have any other ideas?

Erased files monitor black?
A program erased important files, after reboot the monitor is all black. I have Windows XP
I can start in safe mode, but doing this appear this error:NTOSKRNL.EXE is missing; and anyway all I can see is just the mouse’ s arrows (it can move) and the safe mode words.
I don’t have windows cd, I don’t care about personal file.
What I can do,?? If I make this file in the cd and tell the pc use the cd driver insted of hard drive, can I resolve anything???
