I Downloaded And Unzipped A File Called Msvcr71.dll From A Website. Should I Keep It?

Since extracting MSVCR71.dll and putting it on this pc I notice a weird change when I sign out of my yahoo mail account. It shows up in “red” with the message: “You’ve signed out of Yahoo” and this never occurred before..
Is this a malicious Registry entry?

How Do I Clear An Error Message Concerning Msvcr71.dll?

i was trying to uninstall a program i no longer wanted. the unistalled did not finish processing and kicked out an error message ‘ the procedure entry point_ismacspace could not be located in the dynamic link library’. I found the file on the .dll website; i downloaded the file and tried to unzip it. even the unzip failed to complete. So how do I clear my problem?

Trying to get my aol i get error message that says MSVCR71.dll is not found and that windows will try to solve the problem. How can I solve it since windows is not solving it.
