Ok, every time I turn my laptop on, it will never start up, and will always go straight to something called Startup Repair (“powered by the Tech Guys”), which seems to think there is a problem starting up.
If I hit F8 and get into the boot menu first instead, no matter which option I choose it will always ignore it and go into startup repair. I tried safe mode, debugging, bootlogging, start windows normally, start windows in low-res, etc.
This has been happening since yesterday when I got a blue screen because of a graphics card driver error, nvlddmkm.sys
The blue screen occured whenever I played on 3D games.
I have an Advent 5401 with Vista home premium, bought it from PC World 10~11 months ago.

Thursday, November 12th, 2009I recently tried to connect my Dell vostro 1500 (Windows XP home) to my TV, first time, everything was ok and I could see movies in the TV from my laptop, since then whenever I connect my laptop to TV and try to choose the option of multiple display, the laptop freezes and shows the blue screen error with some error about “igxpmp32.sys”, I would be pleased if you guide me to solve the problem.

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009den i says to start windows in safe mode or start windows normally etc. den which ever one i choose dis blue screen shows up and it says:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damge to ur coputer.
if dis is the first time u’ve seen dis stop error screen, restart ur computer. if dis screen appears again, follow dese steps: disable oruinstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or bakup utilities. check ur hard drive configuration and check for any updated drivers. run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and den restart ur computer.

Friday, October 23rd, 2009What can I do next. I have inserted the original setup CD-ROM, and I have followed the commands it had given me. Still no luck with getting it re-booted and all that. Here is the same display I keep getting when I put in the disc… “Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: System32\Drivers\Ntfs.sys You can atttempt to repair this file by starting Windows setup using original Setup CD-ROM. Select ‘r’ at the first screen to start repair. Can anyone give me some suggestions on this problem???
