Laptop With Windows Vista Refuses To Boot, Ntoskonl.exe Error?
Wednesday, December 16th, 2009Alright, I was instailing updates, when they finished my laptop automaticly restarted, and I got this message
File :ntoskrnl.exe
Status : 0×0000098
Info :Windows failed to load because a required file is missing
,or corrupt.
I tried starting it in safe mode, but it won’t let me that message still pops up no matter what I do. (I tried safe mode with and without networking)
I don’t have the disk that the computer is asking me to put in, I got this laptop from my cousin and he said he threw the disk away.
Is there any way I can repair this without the CD? I don’t mind if it means losing everything, (I back school papers, pictures etc up on flash drives anyways) I just want it to work again.
My Laptop Have Error , (pad.exe.exe). What Is It?,how To Fix It?

Vista Winload.exe Error On Laptop, Please Help?
Thursday, December 10th, 2009My laptop is fairly new (got it in May) and it came preloaded with Vista Home. Last night, I was on the computer when it froze up. The ONLY thing I did the moment before the blue screen of death appeared was I had got an Apple software update thing and I declined to install it at that moment. (nothing out of the norm) I don’t know if it has anything to do with my problem but other than that, I wasn’t doing anything out of the norm.. I hadn’t even gone to a strange website.
Now, when I turn the computer on, I get this:

Also, I attempted to find help in forums online but most of them talk about someone was installing something when it happened… and also something about a PS2 usb or keyboard fix which I don’t have. Just this laptop!

I Have A Laptop With Windows 2000 And It Will Not Boot!?
Thursday, December 3rd, 2009when I turn it on it goes to the windows start up screen but then a blue screen comes up and it says: Stop c000026c
\SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\i8042prt.… device driver could not be loaded, error status was 0xc0000221. I have tried to start it in every mode possible and it still wont start. I bought a windows xp operating system disk and it wont even read the disk. So basically I am wondering if this computer is even worth trying to fix and if so what can I do to fix it. Help Me PLEASE!

Problem Updating Bios On Acer Laptop?
Sunday, November 29th, 2009I have an Acer Travelmate 5520 Laptop and I have Windows seven, My current Bios verion is 1.14 and I would like to Update to 1.17 (the latest) I downloaded the update and when I try to run the .exe in the ATI folder, It gives the the error “Open Flash.sys fail” I Tried running as admin and same problem, I really need to update my bios, Please help if you think you may have a solution, Thank you!!!

Saturday, November 28th, 2009I have a Dell XPS M140 laptop and I recently had the error that the pci.sys driver is missing or is corrupt. Now windows XP won’t boot–not even to safe mode. Unfortunately my cd rom drive stopped working ages ago, which doesn’t matter since I don’t know where the freaking disk is. I did just go and buy an external drive and set my boot sequence to read the usb storage device, but where the heck can I get a download for windows xp recovery disk that I can load on a usb? All I keep seeing is a download for a floppy. I did download that one anyways, but it won’t work–keeps asking for the A: drive.
HELP ME PLEASE! I am desperate!
