Error In Installing Ikernel.exe In Harry Potter Ii ?

So, I am installing Harry Potter II PC Game onto my laptop. It starts installing by the InstallShield. After a few minutes or so, a popup comes stating that “Error in installing iKernel.exe”. I searched on the Net, for this problem , but so far nothing has come up. How do I repair this. It used to work perfectly fine, a month back, but now it isn’t. What’s wrong ?

when i try install xp i get an error saying

and it also tells me to check for BIOS updates and to disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.

Is Microsoft Installing Spyware On Our Computers With Iecont.dll & Iecontlc.dll In Ie7?

Iecont.dll & iecontlc.dll are listed as spyware on the web, yet they are required to load IE7. Can somebody tell me exactly what type of information is accessed by these files?

Need Help Installing Windows Xp Pro?

Please help. I can’t re-install my OS as when installing I get an error
saying it can’t copy these files:-
ks.sys
modem.sys
ndisuio.sys
nic1394.sys
sonydcam.sys
msh263.drv
uagp35.sys
ntkrnlpa.exe
Any ideas? I have re-formatted the drive. The only luck I had was
installing XP x64 on to the drive which worked but is useless as it doesn’t
support my additional software or hardware…..Is it a virus? I have tried my
original cd and back-ups (no scratches etc) always the same files being
dropped.

Hi,
I’m getting Blue Screen With Memory dump Error. While Installing Windows Xp SP2. And Its not Installing Blue Screen with Memory Dump is coming with Stop: 0×00000000 something like this.
*** STOP: 0×0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xF6C9AE7E, 0xF71CC224, 0×00000000)
But In Windows Xp SP1 Its Installing correctly without any error. But Problem is I don’t have SP2. Could any one tell me why this is happning with my Comp. Also I have changed RAM and Tried a lot.
I have AMD 2200+ with nVidia (A7N266 VM) and 512MB RAM Installed with SAMSUNG 7200rpm 40 GB HDD.
1. How can I Gat Windows Xp Service Pack 2 from the Internet. I don’t have Internet connection at Home whats the size and url to get this.
2. In which edition of Digit or CHIP CD have windows XP SP2 given.
3. Priviouly I was Installed that Windows Xp with SP2 CD and It was working fine but now its not working the CD is totally Ok and working with my friends computer.
4. nv4_mini.sys -Address F6C9AE7E what is this?

Problem Installing New Hard Drive And Os.?

I just tried to install my new hard drive and xp.
I followed all the instructions and after it booted from the xp cd and partitioned the drive then I selected NTFS and it performed that function to 100% then it came up with a screen that says (and this is a brand new drive, just out of packaging)
WINDOWS HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM: IF IT IS THE 1ST TIME YOU’VE SEEN THIS ERROR RESTART. DISABLE ANY ANTIVIRUS, DISK DEFRAG OR BACKUP UTILITIES. CHECH HARD DRIVE CONFIGURATION AND CHECK FOR ANY UPDATED DRIVERS. RUN CHKDSK/F TO CHECK FOR HARD DRIVE CORRUPTION & RESTART.

Just built a new computer , trying to install XP SP3 and I get an error “regsvr32.exe” Memory could not be read. Then got blue screen with 0×5cb7bd04 error code. I have an ASUS M2N32 SLI deluxe board, XP FX 6000 cpu, BFG 9400 GT video card, 2 gig samsung 5300 mem and 550 thernaltake pwr supply…

My cousin send me a PC (1.1 GHz Celeron, 128 MB RAM) and no Hard Drive. I remove my HDD from my PC which is working properly and attached the HDD to the Celeron. Now I am trying to Install XP on it. The setup is start but after a few minuts this message appears–”setupdd.sys could not be loaded, The error code is 4,setup could not be continue. Press any key to continue,/”
I have tried many times, exchange CD drive and HDD connections separatly but problem is still rhe same.

Still Having Trouble Installing Win Xp Home Edition?

I used the MS Dos 6.22 and did the fdisk. It seemed to work. But now when I install Win XP it will start giving me error messages such as “Set up cannot copy the file: cinemst2.sys. I retry and nothing happens. I skip and it will tell me windows has been shut down to avoid damage. What do you suggest now?
