“illegal System Dll Relocation” What Does This Mean, How Do I Fix?
Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009Purchased new computer two weeks ago – I have the following error and have not experienced it before. As follows:
The system DLL user32.DLL was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred becasue the DLLC:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\HHCTRL.ocx occupied an address range reserved for windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.
Can anyone please explain what this means, and how do I fix it? Will it be costly.
Thank-you
How Do I Fix A Problem Of The Illegal Dll System Relocation By Quickstart.exe And Dsargnt.dll?
Tuesday, September 1st, 2009When I start up my computer, a huge popup made by DSargnt for Illegal DLL System Relocation turns up. Says that the user32.dll was relocated in the system. The C:\….\windows\…\shell32.dll was occupying some address reserved for windows dlls. Later, the same message appears when I try to run a program, except this time it was made by quickstart.exe. How do I fix this? I tried bunch of patches by Microsoft but they don’t work. Please note that the address is occupied by shell32.dll, not Hhctrl.ocx or anything else. What can I do???
