My copy of Portal crashes when i go through the first portal on my laptop.
I cleaned out my drivevs of clutter so i have plenty of available memory.
I have almost 1gb (.99 to be exact) of RAM and am running off of a 1.73 GHz processor with Windows Vista as my operating system. I dont know how to tell whatt kind of graphics card i have or whether it is above or below the necessary standard for the game. Also, i’ve heard that McAfee antivirus can effect the game. I have McAfee. Could that be the problem?

Friday, January 15th, 2010In tf2 i can’t even play without it going non responsive, When it loads up I do find server, that works fine, when i connect to the server it goes team fortress 2 is not responding… So i wait and then it comes back after about 2 mins. Then when it loads up i press continue and i think it goes not responding because it’s lagging? I’m not very sure. But it goes unresponsive when i’m picking out the guys. I got team fortress 2 like a couple days ago and I’m not able to play it )=. I already defrag my cache and entered the code in launch steam thing. So yeah please anyway is there anyway you could help me out like install something or change something?

P.S I viewed integrity of cache too and it still doesn’t work, and i submitted a tag to steam and still got no luck. And i reinstalled steam and reinstalled tf2

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009Recently my registry messed up, so i popped in my windows cd and did a system repair. Everything that was broken before seemed fixed. After playing with my comp for awhile, I have noticed somethings still messed up with my registry which includes this Hl2.exe error that pops up every time i try to play Counter strike source. ( it pops up before game loads). So i was wondering if you have any way to delete previous css registry files or any other way to fix my prob.

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009Its not only me but I have read some Forms where it seems that the new update for Garrys mod that includes achievements has left people unable to save there games. Once i click save the game stops and says hl2.exe error but otherwise i can play the game flawlessly. Does anyone know a fix to this error? like i said its not the error when you start Garry’s mod its an error when you try to save.

Can i reinstall steam but save my updates to css cuz i have waited at least 2 hours for it to update and dont wanna have to do that again

Sunday, August 9th, 2009I got Counter-Strike: Source from Steam a day ago and I installed it. Whenever i double-click it, it says “Preparing to Launch Counter-Strike: Source” and after about a couple seconds, an error message reading “hl2.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close…” pops up. I have reinstalled the game and it hasn’t helped. I don’t know what to do! Please Help!
