From what I hear, this is happening because of a Windows security update. Apparently after the update, many users were getting this error with many of their applications.
First let me tell you – DO NOT EVER delete DLL files, unless you know what you are doing. DLL files are files used to communicate between programs, and if you delete the wrong one, then it could affect your computer even starting up.
Microsoft has issused a fix for this that is suppose to work.
Check out their site. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448

ActivIcons—is free software—that makes it simple to change properties for various icons on your Windows desktop and in Explorer, plus attributes for many other desktop settings. You can save and restore the desktop layout, repair corrupted icons, increase the size of the Windows icon cache to prevent future problems, and much more.
You can substitute your own icons for the standard Windows icons and cursors. In fact, ActivIcons goes through your Registry and lists out all of the icons found there, so that you can change those as well. You can even use ActivIcons to display animated icons on your desktop, or make the icon text labels transparent.
Download ActivIcons:http://www.cursorarts.com/ca_ai_d.html

Your OS has become corrupted and needs a repair install or you have a virus that has caused corruption
If this started very recently you may be able to perform a restore.
If not then follow these steps (even if you already fixed it):
First go to download.com and download tuneup utilities 2007 and run the registry fix.
Then go to ccleaner.com and download and run its program
If that didnt work download and install a free version of AOL and its security. Or download Kaspersky Internet Security.
Make sure you don’t have any other protection running and if you do unless it is norton or one of the ones I mentioned it does not have as high of a detection rate.
Next update the security program and go to Safe Mode by pressing F8 repeatedly (every second) after the computer first shows a screen after restarting.
In safe mode hit YES after logging in and run the protection software on the pc (spyware and virus scan)
If you still see these problems then run a repair install on your computer after you back up your important data.
You do this with your disk that came with the pc.
