Portal Game Lags Then Crashes On First Level? Hl2.exe Error?
Tuesday, January 26th, 2010My copy of Portal crashes when i go through the first portal on my laptop.
I cleaned out my drivevs of clutter so i have plenty of available memory.
I have almost 1gb (.99 to be exact) of RAM and am running off of a 1.73 GHz processor with Windows Vista as my operating system. I dont know how to tell whatt kind of graphics card i have or whether it is above or below the necessary standard for the game. Also, i’ve heard that McAfee antivirus can effect the game. I have McAfee. Could that be the problem?
When I First Turn On The Computer A Window Shows This: Import;dll Missing Or Corrupt. What Does This Mean?
Monday, December 14th, 2009It means one your your .dll files are missing or corrupt.
Does it say Error Message? Does it have an Error number?
if there is an error number write it down or take a screen shot of that error window (Alt + Prnt Scrn) and then paste into a word document.
Once you have the error number search for it in a windows help site or just on yahoo or google.

My Gpu Works In The 2nd X16 Slot But Not In The First, Help!!!?
Tuesday, October 20th, 2009When I first got this computer the gpu was in the first PCIe 2.0 X16 slot, and could have been my fault when I started tampering with overclocking it, it stopped working… After Hrs of frustration i gave up and last resort switched it to the 2nd pciex16 slot and its been working. Iv tried updating the bios, resetting it and the gpu still wont work on that first slot, the pc turns on and loads windows i kno this cuz i hear the welcome song but i dont see anything and the ping at the begining is beeeep, beep beep! idk what that means but any help would be appreciated, I checked my GPUZ and it says the card in the 2nd slot runs at 8x… idk how i never changed anything there and its spose to be x16 
iv noticed a decrease in performance and thought that could be it! HELP! by the way motherboard, Asus p5n-d, gpu: 8800gt ocx i dont think any other hardware is important for me to include… also on CpuZ it says my board is 650i when i orderd it it says 750i and this model is only in 750i so i dont understand

*i have no idea about the illegal?? Then goes on to say:*
The system DLL user 32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly relocation occurred because DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32IHHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted fo a new DLL.
