when I right click on desktop icons an error is shown ” explorer.exe has caused an error , it will now close”After that computer hangs. How to solve this problem?

Thursday, January 28th, 2010Your OS has become corrupted and needs a repair install or you have a virus that has caused corruption
If this started very recently you may be able to perform a restore.
If not then follow these steps (even if you already fixed it):
First go to download.com and download tuneup utilities 2007 and run the registry fix.
Then go to ccleaner.com and download and run its program
If that didnt work download and install a free version of AOL and its security. Or download Kaspersky Internet Security.
Make sure you don’t have any other protection running and if you do unless it is norton or one of the ones I mentioned it does not have as high of a detection rate.
Next update the security program and go to Safe Mode by pressing F8 repeatedly (every second) after the computer first shows a screen after restarting.
In safe mode hit YES after logging in and run the protection software on the pc (spyware and virus scan)
If you still see these problems then run a repair install on your computer after you back up your important data.
You do this with your disk that came with the pc.

Monday, January 18th, 2010i installed some programs from the internet. When i opened them up it said that i needed to update some programs i had so it did that for me and restarted. i opened up another program it said the same thing but when it restarted it says “Error loading Explorer.exe. You must reinstall windows.” then i click ok and then another screen comes up and says ” The MSVCRT.DLL file is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:RtlGetNtVersionNumbers.” after that i cant get in i keep pushing ok but it still there i have the disks it came with system restore i clicked to restore ONLY explorer.exe but its still has the same message but last time i used it to restore my system i erased thousands of music files and photos. i want to fix this but i dont understand how. i also have priceless photos on there that i dont want to lose again they are not saved. the computer is windows 98. what should i do where should i go? please help and thanks in advance
Explorer.exe – Bad Image, Shdocvw.dll Error?
Sunday, January 3rd, 2010Hello, I have a Dell Laptop running Vista Basic… but everytime i turn it on after i enter my password it gives me the following error:
Explorer.exe – bad image
C:windows\system32\shdocvw.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error.
I’ve tried starting up in safe mode and also booting up from repair disk. I’ve also tried to restore to an earlier time and chkdsk /f to see if it repaired it.
Any suggestions??
again, it goes up to the part when i can enter the password to log on, but then it just wont respond.
I/o Error & Explorer.exe – Bad Image?
Saturday, January 2nd, 2010i have a problems with 2 error msg’s both started last night, the first is an I/O error status of 0xc000000e and the second says explorer.exe – bad image
i have never had these problems before, the system bots up fine and loads the desktop fine but once i try to open any file or connect to the internet the screen freezes and then comes the error msg’s
not sure if youneed this info:
