My computer was working fine until I shut it down (because it was running slow) and when I turned it back on it said:
“Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\system32\ntoskrnl.exe.
Please reinstall a copy of the above file.”
I don’t have the copy of the installation CD that came with my computer, is there something I can download?
Can you also give me steps on what to do?

Thursday, November 12th, 2009when i installed windows xp pro, i got one error “cannot copy file- drivers.cab-” so i skipped it and continued. everything worked fine untill i tried to use a USB Mass Storage Device, and got this error “usbstore.sys” is missing from drivers.cab
