i have also installed the latest version of directx9.0c march version but still game does not start. This error is giving on my laptop(dell inspiron 1545)but the game worked fine on my desktop

How Do I Repair A Software Programme Which Locks Up And Displays Cadagent.dll At 0008:08b8?

I have an old version of Planix Home loaded on my desktop, which is operating on windows XP. The programme loads and runs OK but when I try to do certain commands it locks up and displays system fail CADAGENT.DLL at 000A:08B8 I have to reboot the computer to load the programme again? Is their any way I can repair this or do I need to replace the software?
