Hi,
I keep getting the blue screen when I try to load my computer through normal settings. It crashes with a blue screen at the “Windows Vista” loading screen with the bar, and then restarts, and then repeats. This was after I used System Mechanic to “optimize” my system by compressing the registry, optimising memory useage and defragmenting the drive (although I cancelled defragmentation mid-way). It keeps crashing over and over, or loads the desktop with just a black screen. When I try to use the Task Manager, it tells me that the application failed to initialize.
The error message that I’m getting on the blue screen is:
“disk.sys
DISK_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA”
It then does a “memory dump” before restarting, and doing the same thing over and over.
I have Hiren’s Boot CD 9.8, but I don’t know which programs to use to get it back. I’d like to try some methods rather than factory resetting my computer.
Can anyone help? Or suggest programs to use on Hiren’s Boot CD? Or even any alternate suggestions?

NOTE: I posted up this question before, but I wanted to add more details. Just to make this clear, I cannot use System Restore because it was turned off prior to a previous virus attack. Also, starting the computer using the “Last Known Good Configuration” doesn’t seem to help. Right now, I can only load it in Safe Mode.

Ok, i recently installed Kaspersky antivirus because my AVG did not detect 1 particular virus, I uninstalled AVG and installed Kaspersky… It removed the viruses and worms BUT when i restarted it, as soon at it loads windows it always crashes!
I tried to reinstall windows but, i can’t get to cmos but F10 key is not functioning. dunno why.
BUT i can still boot windows by using the Safe Mode (with networking). or by Diagnostic mode startup. makes me think that it’s NOT a hardware issue.
Please tell me what to do.

Why Does Yahoo Mail Crash While I’m Reading An E-mail?
Sunday, October 18th, 2009Almost in every session now, while I am reading an e-mail an error box pops up with an Internet Explorer error. Unfortunately it is in Japanese (I live in Japan) so I can’t read it. I suspect the advertising banner at the top of the page is causing the problem. When I click on the error details, I get this:

Why Does Flash9 Keep Causing Internet Explorer To Crash?

“The following add-on was enabled…..Flash9.ocx” ARGH!! Why has this started happening? It seems to occur when I have sites such as MySpace open. It’s happening once or twice every internet session and it’s very annoying. How can I find out what’s wrong and stop it occuring?

Flash10b.ocx Add-on Causing Internet To Crash?

Just recently when using the internet the above add-on causes the website to crash. I’ve gone in and disabled the add-on, but then the website that I want to watch doesn’t load. So I enabled it again and it’s ok from time to time but then it crashes again.
I have updated my Flash player; same problem continues.
Any ideas? (Not very technical so easy to follow answers please!)

So I need to delete them but I fear that it might crash my system. Since I don’t have a bootable disk, XP installer, drivers, I don’t want to crash the system in any case. Please help.
