I was ignorantly using Microsoft C++ software and I did something, now all my main system files like run32.dll are RVR documents by file type. RVR was the name I gave to that certain C++ project. Now no software like paint, System Restore or Command Prompt works. How can I turn all my system files back to normal?

How To Turn Corrupted Run32.dll Files Etc To Their Right State?
Thursday, February 4th, 2010A System File Is Corrupted And Cannot Be Repaired By Startup Repair. How Can I Copy Over The Corrupted File?
Sunday, January 10th, 2010The file is mup.sys and I want to try to copy over the file with an uncorrupted version. I am using Vista, and want to do the equivalent of a repair install in XP, but I can’t boot into Windows, even in safe mode. Alternatively, I tried to remove my hard drive and connect it via usb adapter to another computer to copy an uncorrupted mup.sys, but there is always a vista permissions error that will not let me copy over the file. Is there a way to copy over a corrupt file? I have the Vista DVD.

How Do I Fix Symc8xx.sys Corrupted File Error?
Sunday, July 26th, 2009My desktop crapped out over the weekend and I was not able to get it to boot up properly. After doing everything I knew how I thought I would just start clean with the operating system (XP Pro). After I put the disk in it goes through its initial setup then stops on one of the SCSI Controller loads. I get an error saying “The file symc8xx.sys is corrupted…..Press any key to restart your system” After doing this the same thing happens. I am not able to get a windows prompt or do anything else. Has anyone seen this before and knows how to fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated.
