ATI External Event Utility EXE Module. This task can consume lots of CPU resources on some computers, but it can help with graphics card problems. Leave enabled unless it consumes too many CPU resources
Have you recently upgraded your graphic drivers? If not, then try looking for a newer driver otherwise if you have then roll back to your previous one
Also, try disabling it
Start>Run>type in MSCONFIG
Look in the startup up tab for that and uncheck it..Reboot and see if the problem persists

Why Does A Win32k.sys Blue Screen Appear Everytime A Game Is Ran On My Pc?
Thursday, September 24th, 2009I recently reformatted my HDD (about a week ago) because of software issues. I reinstalled everything, and began playing a bit more PC games. I can leave my PC on for days on end just fine – while I browse the net / chat with others, but almost everytime I run a game – It either freezes completely to the point where I have to unplug it, or it will give me a Win32k.sys blue screen.
The recently installed Steam – and it seems only one game on Steam makes this error happen, and it’s Left 4 Dead. The other I play online is Warhammer Online, with some RL friends.
My PC can handle Warhammer and Steam games just fine – I’ve NEVER had this problem though until I reformatted my HDD. Everything would run fine, never any BSOD’s.
My hardware is as follows:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Duel Core Processor 6400+
Nvidia Nforce 570 SLI Motherboard
Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS graphics card
2048MB DDR2 RAM
I’m going to run a PC Check for the next few hours – any advice would be much appreciated, since I just spent $200 on PC games / accessories in the last 2 weeks – and don’t want it to go to waste.
