There is a good chance that you have done some configuration wrong because it&#039;s not finding the errmsg.sys on the given directory and this will shut down the mysql server.
Follow the directions given on the MySql website - http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/w… Usually the default configurations are the needed to the server to work.
By the way, try using an automated installer, it will make your life a bit easier in where to save the files, how to work it out, etc.</description>
