have a look in device manager &gt; system off control panel
see what it lists as usb devices, the hub , the maker.

as for re-installing  it , unplug the tablet. install the drivers...
then reboot.. only then plug it in..
depends on your pc, is it really old, if its usb1 that would cause issues also

is what i used , ,but 4 port version.. that uses NEC chipset.. i&#039;d stay clear of cheaper ones as i had nothing but problems</description>
