Trying To Reload Roxio 7 And Keep Crashing?

I am trying to reload Roxio 7 after a computer crash, and every time I load it, I am getting errors.
A blue screen comes up and says
File: cdr4–xp.sys
Driver unloaded without cancelling pending operations.
Runing Windows XP Dell Dimension 2400. Have NOT loaded the new internet explorer. When I loaded them before, I lost both Cd and DVD drives. Dell fixed. But did not load Roxio again until now.
Once I get back on the computer and click on Roxio and try to do anything, it comes up with Direct DC cannot findy any supported recordable drive. Help!!!

    Uninstall Roxio first, reboot, then try reloading the program.
    I gave up on Roxio, it persistantly claimed it was still running although Task Manager said it was fully closed down.
    Don’t like programs that keep little fingers prancing around my chips.
    I now use B’s Recorder Gold5.
