Nvidia Graphic Error, Help!?

All of the sudden my computer is experiencing some major issues, the image starts to turn into different colors and dots appear on the screen then a pop up comes and says that my graphic driver stopped responding and has recovered, [ nvlddmkm.sys ] well it does not recover and after some seconds it gives me the blue screen of death.
I can enter safe mode, but i don’t know what to do, i already updated my graphic card with the latest driver and this still continues, does anyone know whats going on and how i can fix this?
Windows Vista Ultimate – 32bit
Memory 4GB
Intel Pentium D CPU 3.40GHz
Graphic: Nvidia Geforce 8880 GTS
700GB
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

You will need to download the correct driver which is why you are getting the “Driver stopped and recovered” issues. I sugges to co in control panel and just use the generic or VGA driver once in safe mode. Then, you will be able to reboot and windows will work.
After that, download the corret driver for your video card and that will solve the ‘responding’ error.
Go on this site and input your graphic driver info. http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_860…
That will fix all the broken sprites and funny colors on your screen.

Maybe the card is going dead. Is anything getting hot or overheating?
