Laptop Wont Start!!!?

My laptop wont start and when you turn it on the following message comes up: windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: system32\DRIVERS\pci.sys you can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original CD-ROM
i dont have the original xp setup disc does anyone know where i can get a replacement or how i can fix it without the CD’s
also the computer is a toshiba sattelite pro 6100—i tried using the toshiba recovery discs and the computer started up once then the next time i got the same error message this is just a secondary computer but it would still be nice to get it up and running

This issue may occur if your computer contains a hardware component that is either damaged or is incompatible with Windows XP when you upgrade or install.
Booting into safe mode, a windows XP disk or download and create a Rescue diskhttp://majorgeeks.com/UBCD4Win_d5710.htm…
If that wont work, browse the trustworthy website for the software that will meat your needs.
