I Have A Windows Xp. Often, While I Run A Word File On My Kingston Usb, The Computer Would Randomly Die While?

showing the blue screen. I noticed that it always happens when I save or something. But it happens only once a while and without any visible pattern. My USB’s uncorrupted so are its files. Is there any explanation?
BTW, the error message has to do with fastfat.sys

I would try re-formating your USB. You may have a virus or corrupted file that is hidden from normal view.
Or you could be missing the fastfat.sys file, or it may be corrupted.
Fastfat.sys is located in the folder C:WindowsSystem32drivers. Known file sizes on Windows XP are 143,360 bytes (88% of all occurrence), 145,152 bytes, 143,744 bytes, 144,768 bytes.
The driver can be started or stopped from Services in the Control Panel or by other programs. The file is a Windows system file. The program is not visible. There is no detailed description of this service. File Fastfat.sys is a Microsoft signed file. Fastfat.sys seems to be a compressed file. Therefore the technical security rating is 1% dangerous, however also read the users reviews.

Could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new software, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes . From http://fixit.in/bluescreenofdeath.html . You can also run a free registry scan using utilities from http://re7.info

You will need your windows xp cd.
    Goto Start, Run and type
    sfc /scannow
It should find corrupt system files and replace them, hopefully solving your problem.
