I got a error on my pc. I done a update on my pc and when it was done it wanted to go to the net and a thing came up saying that there was an error. It wanted me to go to netgear.com cause thats where the problem is.

Isnt “ethernet” the internet? Should I take that program off my pc cause it showed me how, but I dont want to remove my internet!

Netgear ethernet is the connection type. Usually a big gray cord that looks like a huge phone line.
It is not the internet (millions of networks networked/connected to each other).
You might need to download an updated file for Negear since you “updated” your computer.
What did you actually do to your computer to “update” it?
Are you running windows a)Me b)XP or c)Vista?
The version of windows will affect the answer.
enthrnet is a cable evolved with connections with routers and servers sounds like a corrupt router to me
remove the update from your pc. look in control pannel add/remove software and see if the update is listed. if not re-install the driver for your network card from the original cd that came with it. ethernet is a local area network connector, the internet comes into your house and to a modem, this modem then converts the signal so it can connect to your computer through your standard ethernet port.
