Help. (blue-screen Errror, Virus, Slow Comp)!!!!!?

Few days ago i got my computer formatted (as there was virus) After that i day my comp suddenly turned off. It turned out to be a Blue screen error. So i downloaded kaspersky anti-virus 2009. It found a virus( while running full scan for the third time in a row) called Trojan.Win32.Agent.avcy but couldn’t repair it so i told it to delete it.
But after doing a full scan two more times it again found the virus in a different place.(Has found the virus 5 times in total – every time in a different place.) So According to the suggestion given in yahoo answers by some people I ran a full sys scan in safe mode. But it found nothing. Today i find comp really slow . So here i am in ’safe mode with networking’ mode typing this lengthy biography of my comp desperately asking for help.
plllllllllls help me
Also when i am not in safe mode blue screen error occurs almost every 30 min. And i currently have E NOD 32 and kaspersky internet security 2009(updating).So once agiain heelllllllp meeeeeeeee.!!!

You need to turn OFF system restore. (control panel –> system), otherwise the virus will just keep on living. This will delete all files in the restore folder.
You then need to reboot, run all your antivirus stuff, then when you’re happy it’s gone, just turn ON system restore.
PS – I generally use Avast Home (free antivirus), Adaware (free) and Stinger (free), but I’m sure you have the right programs, you’re problem at the moment is just system restore.

  2. you should never use kaspersky because it really sucks,i used to have it,i have used norton 360,kaspersky,nod32,avast,avira,… but each has a disadvantage, but now i use AVG AntiVirus and its unbelievable its perfect,u may download AVG Free Edition…

First, turn off System Restore by right-clicking on My Computer, click Properties, click on System Restore tab then add a checkmark on “Turn off System Restore on all drives” then press Apply.
Please download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, update it and run a full scan. Remove everything it finds.http://www.malwarebytes.org/
If you are still having problems with your computer, I recommend that you go to bleepingcomputer.com in order to remove all traces of malware in your computer.http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/

You can not have two anti-virus softwares running at the same time . This may lead to eventual system crash or PC slowdown . Either get rid of NOD 32 or Kaspersky Internet Security . Hope this helps . GOOD LUCK .

There is a strong possibility that it’s a “false positive”http://forum.sysinternals.com/forum_post…http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?sho…http://forums.zonelabs.com/zonelabs/boar…http://forum.zonelabs.org/zonelabs/board…
I suggest you upload it to here for checking:http://www.virustotal.com/
A computer newly formatted and reinstalled shouldn’t be getting viruses unless the virus is in the boot sector, a DNS changing trojan, or not properly secured. I would suggest going through this briefly to see if your computer measures up for security (don’t do anything about it at this point, just read):http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.…
If it doesn’t measure up, run through this guide (carefully! especially where ComboFix is concerned) and it will have you run through the steps from the link above afterwards:http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.…
If the problem persists, follow the instructions for posting in the forum for further help.
Blue screen errors can be caused by rootkit infections and a lot of ordinary virus scans don’t catch those. The guide to clean up should. It got one of ours out of blue screening after my son visited an innocent seeming website that promptly attacked the computer and got past our defences. (Sadly, I think that a visitor had been fiddling around with our internet security settings….)

  6. 1. you can only run one AV – Eset NOD 32 or kaspersky internet security 2009 delete one.
Then tell us if you still have problems.
E mail me if you require more help.
    Tip:
Trojan.Win32.Agent.avcy loves to hide in system restore.
    EDIT:
“Trojan.Win32.Agent.avcy loves to hide in system restore.”
    What does that mean??????
It means you run your AV & antispyware programs in safe mode & it removes Trojan.Win32.Agent.avcy but when you re boot system restore puts it back.
    1. update AV & antispyware programs
    2. turn off system restore
3 re boot in safe mode
4 run AV & antispyware programs
5 re boot if clean turn on system restore.
kaspersky antivirus 2009 can remove Trojan.Win32.Agent.avcy but not from system restore.

Run virus scans like crazy until it gets rid of it and redo over your hole computer system by reinstalling all your software all over again and you have got more issues then a virus you have a memory issue too when the blue screen comes up and many more issues .
