How Do I Register Dx8vb.dll With Regsvr32.exe?
February 27th, 2010Winlogon.exe Application Error – Please Help Me?
February 27th, 2010Everytime i switch on my computer i get this error notification – “The instruction at 0*00000000 referenced memory at 0*00000000. The memory could not be read.
It doesn’t matter if i click OK or Cancel, my computer reboots and i get the same message again.
I tried to find a solution online. Even downloaded a registry repair software and fixed 700+ errors. But this one still persists. The instructionson microsoft.com are either useless or too complicated to understand. Will i have to reinstall Windows XP? I think i’ll lose all my data if i do that, right? Is there anyother way to fix this problem?

I Cant Install Directx 9.0c.the Installation Fails Each Time. I’ve Run Dxdiag, And It Says Directx Not Found.?
February 27th, 2010Whats strange is that I’m using programs that require Directx 9c. I suspect that it might be installed but is somehow not showing in Dxdiag. Under the files tab in DXdiag is says “The file gcdef.dll is an old version, which could cause problems.” I imagine updating Directx should fix this, I hope, but as I mentioned I am unable to install 9.0c. It fails each time and says “An internal system error has occured. Please refer to dxerror.log and directx.log in your Windows folder to determine the problem” I will include my dxdiag report as well as the directx.log if that helps. I want to solve this issues because I believe problems with directx are preventing me from installing updated gfx card drivers, which I badly need. If anyone can help, I would be so very appreciative. Please include links to sites, etc. that I can browse to for help/info. I’ve looked all over on the web searching for almost every directx term/error I can think of, and thus far Ive had little (none) success. Thanks=)
