Why Is Flash Player Making My Computer Freeze Up/ Lock Up?

For some reason i will be watching stuff on flash player, and then about 30 minutes later my computer will freeze up. And i know it’s flash player because I would be on 2 hrs playing games and will only be on 30 mins on flash player and my pc would freeze. I have run virus scans, registry fixers, spyware and defrags. The only thing that would fix for registry was this path line:
inprocserver32\ c:\windows \system32 \macromed\flash \flash9d.ocx
(note there arn’t suppose to be spaces between slashes, but i have to because otherwise it doesnt show the path)
This is an activex/com, but it wont let me fix it nor delete it.
And when i defrag the only files that dont defrag are shelliconcache.
Someone please help me

flash9d.ocx is one file of flash plugin for browser. Newer version is flash9e.ocx. Visit Adobe link below to download the newer version. You may also want to download flash uninstaller there.

are you sure you downloaded it from the official site and try doing a msconfig startup adjustment and registry clean also a online virus scan from kaspersky, trend micro, norton etc if that dont work try getting some more RAM and maybe a higher graphics card
