each time i on my laptop, a notice pops out with a big honk that sounds like one that you hear in quizzes shows on tv when someone is giving a wrong answer.
it says in the notice : your DLL from c:/windows/system32 has been moved because hhctrl.ocx is occupying the whole range of adress ..something something and supplier of dll should be contacted something something. being a computer retard, i just think that i have to delete this hhctrl.ocx to get the DLL back in place to wherever it was. but i couldnt delete this hhctrl.ocx. i tracked down in the system32 folder, and this hhctrl.ocx is present with an icon of those green and yellow gears. (btw im using windows XP here). so what to do? i dont know if this is because i downloaded games from websites or is it because i updated the windows because i remember being prompted from the windows taskbar. or toolbar. whichever.
I think microsoft has come up with a fix to that problemhttp://mypchelp.blogspot.com/2007/04/ill…
I have answered this question 4 or 5 times already, please look at my other posts on this subject for the answer
basically you have a program installed that wants you to buy another program to remove it (i.e. they are charging you to remove a program they created) they is a bad hacker/programmer
I have several posts that detail how to stop this, check em out

Hi,
Don’t fret. This is caused by the recent security updates to XP SP2 which breaks the Realtek HD Audio Control Panel.
The complete error may look like:
Rthdcpl.exe – Illegal System DLL Relocation
The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:WindowsSystem32Hhctrl.ocx occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.
To resolve this issue, download and install this patch:
WindowsXP-KB935448:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai…

Guy name Mr. Retard who works for microsoft made system32 his father’s name.
joke. didn’t mean to hurt system32.
Use system recover cds might be able to fix it. system restore might help too. try
c:/windows/system32 is a part of your Windows filesystem If you dont have all of it or just even a little bit your going to have problem with your XP Its just like part of your body but only c:/windows/system32 is part of the Windows or should say computers Body and its located in where the My computer icon is at when u click on My computer and u open up your local disk i guess u should see some files that say like program files and Windows thats where c:/windows/system32 is at
I have the exact same problem. My one was a result of me deleting a few applications from my C drive, it started thereafter. I just hope someone out there can help remove this irritating thing.
do not delete anything in your system32 folder. Everything in that folder helps make windows run. If you see something with .dll that means that is a windows system file. I recommend not deleting anything but, this sound like a windows system problem and you make have to take it into a store or reload the operating system.
