ok, so I try to run the setup file that’s on the hard drive, I assume to install the utilities and stuff, and it won’t run correctly. I double click on it and the first thing it does is tell me that Flash9 ActiveX Control or later is needed. I click Yes and Flash9 Player pops up. Upon closing this window, an error tells me “Access violation” at some address in module “Flash6.ocx”, which seems to be a null pointer error. Another window appears after clicking ok here that has the WD logo on it, but then nothing else. I assume this is supposed to be the loading image for the installation wizard, but it doesn’t progress beyond that. What could be wrong?
P.S. I have tried copying to the hard drive without doing the setup and it eventually ends up telling me that there isn’t sufficient space on the drive, even though explorer says I have more than enough. I don’t know if this is helpful

Hi
make sure you are using a FAT32 system and not NTFS. That My Book doesn’t support NTFS which is why you may be having trouble. Also, select Raid 0 or Raid 1 in your bios and tht should do the trick.
