Er, don't disable your firewall and av if you're going to connect to the net. Recipe for trouble.
Best place to ask is at Malwarebytes forum: http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index…
Several people have had this problem, but not always/only with MBAM.

CCLeaner Free & Slim Editionhttp://www.ccleaner.com/download/builds/…
install and delete all registry items and everything else
try in safe mode heres how
1. Log out and reboot your machine.
2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.
3. Select Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking from the resulting menu.
4. When the login screen comes up, log in as Administrator. By default, Administrator has no password.
5. The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different.
6. When you're finished doing what you need to do, log out and reboot back into normal mode.

Another security product might be disrupting the download. Try tempoarily disabling your firewall and antivirus product then try to download MBAM again. Once it is installed, don't forget to re-enable your firewall and antivirus.
