Can Someone Actually Answer Vdm’s Question? Please?

This application has failed to start because hhctrl.ocx was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem
Got the same error for a different program (Metaproducts Offline Explorer 4.9). Found a mention of it on windows site suggesting reinstalling it from your IE. 5 CD (guess that’s a little dated). I ran SFC file checker two days ago (don’t know if that reverted to an old version of hhctrl.ocx & caused the problem or not.

Tried that so far…not working. Need to restart. & see if that changes anything.

    No, don’t format. What a maroon.
    Try to run XP setup to REPAIR the system as a last resort.
    Try to install the lastest IE. I expect this will help.

    Ok if i were u i would backup everyting and format the HD!
