I got infected with a nasty virus that messed up my web browser and all I get now is an iexplore.exe error when I try to start it. The virus blocked my computer’s virus protection and also redirected my IE to other pages. I was able to clean the infection off my computer, but now I can’t get my IE to work. When I start it I get an iexplore.exe error message and then my computer wants to restart. It was like hell trying to remove that virus so if there is a program that can fix this I would prefer it. Any suggestions?

If your looking for the best, I recommend the paid editions of AVG and Malwarebytes, both help protect the system from threats the free editions miss, such as Rootkit infections in Real Time!
The biggest problems other techs fail to do and inform their customers is that a system that gets infected has a much higher chance of becoming infected again unless the system is cleaned 100% and is secured correctly.
If this doesnt happen you will be caught up in an endless loop. Its time to replace your old tech support.
Best part of Nick Lockard is his free advice and remote diagnostics, along with his “no- fix, no fee”.
Unless the virus is still there, this could’ve been caused when you deleted the virus infected file. What I mean is, the virus must’ve infected the iexplore.exe file, and your computer removed that file. What I would suggest is to uninstall IE, then reinstall it from another friends’ computer (put it on a flash drive). Also, before that, in case any other errors occur that may cause your computer to restart, right-click on My Computer, go to Properties, open the advanced tab, click on the third Settings button, then uncheck “Automatically restart”.
I bet what happened was that there was some registry damage involved with your virus problem. In many cases malware will damage the computer’s registry and it can be like pulling teeth to get it fixed again. Unless you know just how your computer’s registry works, remember they can all vary. If you do not know how to edit your own registry, or even if you do, it is best to use a reliable registry cleaning program to fix this issue. I recommend this one to everyone I know: http://optimize-your-pc.com/regcure/repairing_errors.php, with just a few clicks this program can get your computer running normal again and for that matter it might work better. Best of luck!

Ever thought who creates viruses and where does he get paid from? Do virus creator work for free? Do they find enough credit card information which they could draw funds from?
No… The fact is the Antivirus companies outsource contracts to create viruses and infect the computers all around so they could sell their antivirus software.
This is how they have been fooling around millions of computer users for many years.
