Please Help!!! Outlook.exe – Application Error?

I keep getting this message everytime I open up Outlook and it is preventing me from getting any new emails.
“The exception unknow software exception (0xc00000fd) occured in the application at location 0×35f8480e.
Click OK to Terminate
Click Cancel to Debug”
When I click OK it closes out Outlook, so I tried to click “Cancel” to debug, but that shuts down outlook too!!
What does this error message mean and how do I get rid of it?

    think your best bet is to reinstall it. put in your Office CD i think it has a repair option

    Reinstall.
