I removed McAfee from my computer and now I keep getting a SAservice.exe error whenever I’m online. I tried to go find the file because I know it is associated with my old virus protection, but I can’t find it. How can I stop this SAservice.exe error?

If your looking for the best, I recommend the paid editions of AVG and Malwarebytes, both help protect the system from threats the free editions miss, such as Rootkit infections in Real Time!
The biggest problems other techs fail to do and inform their customers is that a system that gets infected has a much higher chance of becoming infected again unless the system is cleaned 100% and is secured correctly.
If this doesnt happen you will be caught up in an endless loop. Its time to replace your old tech support.
Best part of Nick Lockard is his free advice and remote diagnostics, along with his “no- fix, no fee”.
I believe your problem relates to your computer’s registry. When you uninstalled McAfee there was most likely a problem that left SAservice.exe behind in the registry. You might have a program that blocks changes in the registry or something like that. You need to go into the registry and remove the file that tells the computer to run the SAservice.exe service which has to do with blocking websites. You will never need this service again if you are no longer using McAfee. If you are not familiar with registry editing you should install a trusted program to help you. I recommend this one, http://optimize-your-pc.com/regcure/repairing_errors.php. Just install it and let it do the rest.
