There are a couple steps to take (all are free).
~Go to http://www.windowsupdate.com and update your internet explorer to the latest version and download all the security updates. (you may need to come back to this site serveral times because there are new updats that appear as you install new updates)
~Then go to http://www.adobe.com and download the new versions of the shockwave player and the flash player. (Look in the downloads section)
~Lastly go to http://www.java.com and install the latest java to your pc.
make sure you have iexplorer service package 2, and yahoo games work on applets, there is an update in java.com in the update number 10 , check your pop blocker aloww yahoo to open pop ups and i’ll work
