I Am Trying To Boot Up A Pc That Was Given To Me And I Am Getting This Error Message. Services.exe-bad Image.?
It just goes to an error screen with that message. The keyboard works but the mouse does not. Any thought or advice on how to correct this problem. Thanks!

The image you are trying to boot from is corrupted (the OS). You should re-install it. Or you could eliminate these problems by using a Linux distro, i recommend Ubuntu for beginners.

Its normal to have one piece of services.exe, if you have two tho, one is altered. Meaning its a copy but its a backup with a totally different representing, such as a Trojan. You just need to copy down the original kb and mb /packets/ this original program uses, so if you see another one you would know its fake.
But yeah your best solution now is to get an AV, get Avast Free Edition it sucks but it does the job.
During installation it might ask to boot time scan it select yes.

Having researched the internet most responses are to download some kind of program to clean up your computer or re install using the XP disk.
