Ever since I uninstalled the NOKIA PCsync, I am getting the “error” on temp2.exe message when I turn on my unit. Also, there is this phone browser folder that should have been removed with the “unintallation”. However, it remains and cannot be opened nor deleted. I tried the “change/ remove” in the control panel but I couldn’t find this browser there.

try installing program called registry cleaner, i had one like that as well after using this program no more. but u have to have full version to remove this exe file, so i would suggest checking out serial.ws for the free serial key, hope it helps.
you could try running msconfig from the run box in the start menu; once msconfig is open go to the startup tab and scroll down and uncheck if that entry or anything that may pertain to your old software.
