    It’s probably an infection…
Here is an extract from this site. http://www.liutilities.com/products/wint…
“Windows errors related to iexplorer.exe ?
iexplorer.exe is a process belonging to the AdClicker advertising program. This process monitors your browsing habits and distributes the data back to the author’s servers for analysis. This also prompts advertising popups. This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system.”
    Another good read is here…http://www.file.net/process/iexplorer.ex…
Removal instructions are clear, Google for iexplorer.exe
    Good luck

the exact same thing use to happen to me everytime i closed anything. heres what i had to do:
click on “tools”, “manage add ons”, then disable everything in that list. then re-enable them one at a time. after enabling one of them click ok, then close ie. reopen ie, try going to any site, then close the site. if that error message does’nt come up you’ll know that it was’nt that one. do the same thing with the next one on the list and so forth. you’ll find the culprit. when you find it, disable that one. turns out it was some of my yahoo services that were giving me that same error message. hope this helps, good luck

So far this same error hasn’t effected my PC at all. I think it’s a problem that the program’s already closed ,but somethings misread & saying it isn’t.
