Data Prevention Execution Error For Explorer.exe?

when i switch on my HP laptop i get an error message telling me that there a data prevention execution error and that the accesing file is windows explorer.exe what should i do?

    As a workaround you can add an exception for explorer.exe, follow these steps:
    1. Right-click my computer
    2. Select properties
    3. Click Advanced
    4. Click Performance
    5. Click the DEP tab
    6. Select turn on DEP for all except
    7. and Add explorer.exe to the list (it’s in C:WINDOWS)
    8. Restart computer
    The problem could be anything from an application to a driver to a virus. Try a system restore to before the problem occurred or remove any new stuff, hardware, software etc.
