Where Is Lame.dll Normally Stored On The Computer?
My audio editor said that the MP3 encoder lame.dll couldn’t be found and asked if I would find it myself. I would, but where do I look? I have windows XP. Is it there on the computer normally or do I have to actually download it? Thanks

“lame” file available @ sourceforge.
This description is for ‘Audacity’; your audio editor may be similar:
This plug-in will extend the range of Audacity to work with Mp3 files: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/lame/la…
It’s handy to put all “add-on” files in the Audacity program file, then tell Audacity to look for it there, as needed.
Copy the file> My computer> ‘c’ drive> Programs> Audacity> paste:
Then:
Audacity> Edit> Preferences> File formats> Find library> Yes> (browse to the Audacity file and select the desired file)> OK out
Lame.dll is open-source mp3 encoder and you should download it.http://www.dll4free.com/lame.dll.html
