Where Do I Put The D3dx9_29.dll File When I Install Battlefield 2142?

I have just recently downloaded and installed a demo for Battlefield 2142, but when I try to open it, it says cannot find the d3dx9_29.dll file needed to run the application. Where can i get this and where do I put it?

    Just paste it there and try Install again, there should be no problem.

    You need to download and install DirectX 9.0c with the Dec. 2005 update.http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai…
    The rest will take care of itself.

    hey just had the same issue. dump it in c:windowssystem32 and you’re good to go soldier!
    ps i didn’t even have to reinstall directx as suggested above

    unistall the demo, then download a new from
    http://www.download.com
