My Canon Printer Does Not Work – I Get A Message – Imlib32.dll Not Found. Does Anyone Know What To Do?

The error message comes up when running the software that drives the printer. The problem cannot be resolved by reinstalling the drivers as the re-installation process is halted by the same message “This application has failed to start because imlib32.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem”. The same messge occurs when uninstalling the driver.

    You need to obtain the updated driver in order to make your printer work.
    1. You should keep your current installation.
    2. Download and install the updated driver.
    3. Turn off the power to the printer. Wait a minute. Turn it back on.
    4. Reboot Windows.
    5. Pring a test page. It should now work.

    CANON PRTRS ARE NOT GOOD PRINTERS AND I WOULD RECOMEND THAT U GET SOMETHING ELSE THE MGS THAT U R RECIEVEING IS A DRIVER ERROR NEED TO GET A UPDATE FROM CANON OR GET A NOTHER PRTNER
