Is It Save For Me To Download A Dll File From A Dll Site?
i keep getting these message while i’m booting my laptop or trying to open a program:
This application failed to start because comres.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.”

don’t worry this should be easy to fix, as it’s a standard windows DLL file so please do this :-
reboot your system and then go start > run and type “CHKDSK C:/F” and press enter this will then run scan disk next time your system boots past the BIOS screens.
so reboot again and watch windows fix your error for you.

Depends. Because DLL’s can be named the same, you have to pretty sure it’s the one your application requires, as well as the version. Or even the DLL you want to download requires another DLL to work. If you have no idea, better to just re-install the whole thing. Less problems that way (:
Why don’t you reinstall the application then? If you start the installer before uninstalling the broken copy it might give you a repair option
It is usually safe to replace your dll files with ones from other pcs…
