How Do I Get Rid Of The Windows Root System32 Hal.dll?
My computer won’t start up to the normal windows xp screen. So i need help. Plus my cd-rom drive won’t work it is shot and i don’t have the windows xp cd.

Upon rebooting, press F8 constantly, then you need to choose last known configuration. It will now boot to normal. about system 32, start button>run>type “msconfig”>startup>disable.. Careful, this might get your computer corrupt. about your CD ROM, there is a hole just beside the close/open button that a needle could fit, just push softly that you can feel a click, then it will open up.
Why would you delete it? You won’t be able to boot into Windows without it. You’ll have to use the recovery console and repair it not delete it. Have to put in a Rom drive and borrow a copy of XP. http://forums.techguy.org/windows-nt-200…
