How Can I Remove Dll Applications If I Don’t Know What Program Is Using Them?

By mistake I downloaded something that had bundled dll’s with them. I realized that this also included a virus and spyware, which I think I am rid of. When I tried to remove the applications that are hijacking my computer (my homepage, for example), it says another application is using it. How can I delete these? Can I click “always open with” , choose some program and make sure it isn’t open, and then go in and delete it? Or will I destroy everything? Please help!!!

you have to be very careful … i would google and run adaware and avast … both freeware apps … if you know what ur doing try using hijackthis but you will probably need someone to analyze what it finds to tell u what to remove …
