Rundll32 is what runs dynamic link libraries (DLL).
You cannot delete this. If it messes up your computer, try reinstalling Windows.
MOST PROBABLY YOUR RUNDLL FILE IS CORRUPT ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS DOWNLOAD THE DLL FILE FROM THE WEBSITE FOR FREE.
OR COPY IT FROM THE ORIGINAL CD OF WINDOWS AND THEN DO THE FOLLOWING
1)COPY THE FILE TO THE DESKTOP
2)GO TO MY COMPUTER>C: DRIVE>WINDOWS>SYSTEM 32
3)NOW HERE IN SYSTEM 32 FOLDER PASTE THE RUNDLL FILE AND IF AN OPTION ASK YOU WHETHER YOU WANT TO OVERWRITE THE FILE CLICK YES.
4)NOW RESTART YOU COMPUTER AND SEE IF THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED.
A system restore should usually fix the problem. If you have not deleted this yourself, you need to do a system restore and scan your PC with a good anti-virus.
Not really sure what software to best solve your issue but try download pctools antivirus and avg free. If you have any trojans, virus, etc. it should be able to find it. make sure to update the database library first after installation of the software…. goodluck!

Rundll32 is an executable file that creates the environment for certain command line functions. It has been the object of virus and Trojan attacks and it sounds like yours is corrupted.
The first thing to do is use search to see if there is more than one on your system. It should be in the /windows/system32 folder.
If there is, one anywhere else, delete it.
Then run a virus scan of the whole disk.
There is a tool that will verify and validate the system files and replace bad or corrupt ones. You have to have the Original Windows CD to do this. The tool is found under the tools menu of the System Information utility. Select Start Programs/Accessories/System tools/System Information. It’s easy to use.
