Sunday, November 29th, 2009I am trying to install Windows XP service pack 2 on HP Pavilion dv5-1110ee(having AMD turion X2 ultra 64 processor and SATA Hardisk). As this one is having SATA hardisk, the installation is getting stuck as XP SP2 installation package doesnt have the SATA driver. I had downloaded and slipstreamed the drivers to XP installation using Nlite and tried to use the same but everytime its getting stuck with the error message ahcix64.sys file is corrupted

Saturday, November 28th, 2009hello everyone , i did a big mistake of deleting userinit.exe registry entries while cleaning virus and spyware of my latop and now when i log on , i get a blank screen after logging on to my login screen …… i can access task manager by alt-ctrl-del and run registry editor but when i try to run cmd , i cant …..it show some error . ok another problem ….my dvd-cd rom doesnt work ?

Saturday, November 28th, 2009I have a Dell XPS M140 laptop and I recently had the error that the pci.sys driver is missing or is corrupt. Now windows XP won’t boot–not even to safe mode. Unfortunately my cd rom drive stopped working ages ago, which doesn’t matter since I don’t know where the freaking disk is. I did just go and buy an external drive and set my boot sequence to read the usb storage device, but where the heck can I get a download for windows xp recovery disk that I can load on a usb? All I keep seeing is a download for a floppy. I did download that one anyways, but it won’t work–keeps asking for the A: drive.

Saturday, November 28th, 2009I’ve have tried installing win xp for my new set of com but they fail awhile after start checking all those stuff with the following message
File sbp2port.sys caused an unexpected error (4096) at line 5897 in d:\xpsp1\base\boot\setup\setup.c.
along the bottom of the screen in the gray area it says setup failed press any key to restart your computer.
wat’s wrong?
